What We Do

Young Actors Project offers after-school acting classes and summer programs for youth ages 5-18. We provide professional performing arts training and fantastic productions. We are a team taught acting program dedicated to the growth and self-expression of young actors. We create a fun and exciting atmosphere for students to explore their creativity and gain lasting self-confidence.

Our Vision

Young actors will have the opportunity to explore the art of acting and performance in an environment that supports their needs and dreams. Students will discover their unique potential, share their voice, and create something truly special as a team of young artists. The community will support their efforts and be positively impacted by the transformation and growth that occurs onstage and off.

How We Work

Actors are taught skills and techniques in three areas: Audition, Rehearsal, and Performance. Training includes Voice, Movement, Stage Combat and other specialty skills designed to fully develop the actor’s instrument.

Through IMPROVISATION, SCENE-STUDY, THEATRE GAMES, COLD-READING and SCRIPT ANALYSIS actors train and acquire the tools they need to perform and to work professionally, if desired.
